Miki Walker is the Kriewall-Haehl Family Director of Sand Hill School, with over 15 years of experience in education as both a teacher and administrator. A passionate advocate for supporting the whole child through a strengths-based approach, she believes in the importance of collaboration between teachers, families, and students. Miki holds a BA in Liberal Studies from Santa Clara University, along with multiple teaching and administrative credentials from San Francisco State University. She previously served as Director of Discovery Charter School Falcon Campus in South San Jose.

Mr. Harris has developed and refined specialized interdisciplinary programming for children with learning, social-emotional and attention challenges at Children’s Health Council for 15 years. He is also an adjunct lecturer in the Graduate School Special Education Department at San José State University. In the past, Chris has also served as Executive Director at The Janus School, Pennsylvania, The Chartwell School, Monterey, California, and Children’s Health Council.
