Sydney A. Hernández, PhD (she/her), is a postdoctoral fellow at CHC. She specializes in comprehensive psychological assessments and trauma-informed care for children, adolescents, and helping families navigating autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges. Sydney is passionate about creating a collaborative environment where families feel supported and understood throughout their journey. Sydney has extensive experience across diverse clinical settings, including intensive outpatient programs, hospital settings, residential facilities, and community mental health centers. She has experience with evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as TF-CBT, DIR Floortime, PCIT, CBT, DBT, and Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up (ABC), as well as specialized services including social skills groups, multi-family therapy, parent training, and crisis intervention. In her free time, Sydney enjoys spending time with her dog, singing karaoke with friends, and scheduling her next pilates or tennis lesson.
