Hyun Seon Park (she/her) is a clinical psychology doctoral intern at Stanford Children’s Hospital/Children’s Health Council and a Clinical Psychology PhD Candidate at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Hyun specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and medical difficulties. Hyun is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where young people and caregivers feel understood, empowered, and actively involved in moving towards a values-aligned life. She values partnering closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to support meaningful and sustainable change.
Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based care, and pulls from a range of evidence-based treatments, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and dyadic models of therapy, such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).
